Hobart and surrounding areas
We deliver skip bins across the Hobart City Council area every day of the week. We can also provide very early service to suit the traffic in your area, if booked in advance.
The main consideration for residents in Hobart City is driveway access. If your driveway is very steep or narrow, the eaves are low, or there are low overhead power lines, please call us so we can check our truck will fit.
The Hobart tip (McRobies Gully) is the closest disposal site.
If you need a street permit for your skip bin, contact the City of Hobart. Skip bins on the road or footpath generally need a permit; bins on your own property usually don't. A trailer bin can be left on the road with no permit needed.
Kingborough and Huon Valley
The local disposal site is the Barretta Transfer Station. Our operations are well established in Kingborough and the south.
Customers in Kingborough often need our large skip bins in spring and autumn, as there are many large gardens in the area. See green waste skip bins.
No concrete, bricks, building rubble, sand or soil can be tipped at Barretta Transfer Station. These heavy skips incur an extra charge as they must go to the Hobart tip.
If you need a permit for a skip bin on council land in Kingborough, contact Kingborough Council.
