How to choose the right skip bin size
Choosing a skip size is easier when you follow a few rules of thumb:
- Pile your rubbish together and estimate it in trailer loads
- If you're between two sizes, go up one. It costs less than hiring a second bin
- Bulky items such as lounges and mattresses take more room than you expect
- Dirt, bricks, concrete and tiles go in a separate concrete and dirt bin
- Bins must be filled level with the rim so they can be transported safely

- Garage or shed clean out: 4m³ to 6m³
- Kitchen renovation: 6m³
