Trailer bin hire Hobart in 4m³ and 6m³ sizes
As well as our regular skip bins, South Skip Bins now has trailer bins for hire across Hobart. A trailer bin is a rubbish bin mounted on its own trailer, so it sits on wheels instead of resting directly on the ground, and it comes with a lockable lid.

Trailer bins are the same price as our truck loaded skip bins. Every price includes drop off, pick up, tip fees and 14 days hire, with no weight limits, so there's no second payment. Mattresses and tyres are an extra $45 each.
Because they sit on their own trailer, trailer bins can be left on the road with no council permit required. They can also be pushed into your garage, backyard, under a carport or anywhere else you can wheel them in. Call 0457 032 967 to book.

Trailer bins are a handy alternative to a standard skip. Popular uses include:

What can't go in a trailer bin: concrete, dirt, bricks, sand, soil, asphalt or tiles. For these we have separate 2m³, 4m³ and 6m³ concrete and dirt bins, so just let us know when you call.
Trailer bin or skip bin?
- Choose a trailer bin if the bin needs to go on the street, you want a lockable lid, or you want to wheel it into a garage or backyard.
- Choose a skip bin for heavy fill, very large jobs (10m³ and 20m³) or building sites.
